Delphi links

• One of the most serious bugs in Delphi 5-7,.... Any program created with Delphi 5-7 (5-7 confirmed, maybe with a later version either) cotains a flaw, which leads to bypassing all destructors and finalzation code fragments if the software was being executed during Windows shutdown or log-off.

Search, filtering, knowledge links

• MovieLens an example of recommenders site that uses so called collaborative filtering to offer movie recommendations. Once registered (free registrations) user should rate at least 20 randomly selected movies. After that the system will be giving a prediction for every showed item in every situation. Technically speaking the system takes into account the ratings of users similar in voting to you.

• START Natural language question answering system. This system will try to answer on any question asked in natural form, for example, What time is it now in Moscow? Very impressive resource that uses not only some internal programs, but external databases such as International Movie Database.
